About the Minorities Cell

Minorities Cell of the Osmania University was established in 2013 with the purpose of empowering the minority communities in the university. Every student has a right of education by following the fact Osmania University empower the minority community in their curricular and co-curricular activities. The Minorities Cell basically helps Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain and Zorastrians (Parsis) for their academic development.

Objectives

• To enhance equal opportunities for education of minorities.
• To aware the minority students regarding various scholarships program of State Government and UGC.
• To ensure protection and reservation as provided in the constitution of India.
• To provide assistance to the minority students through counseling, personality development, development of communication skill and preparatory classes for professional and employment purposes etc.
