2024	A 20 Meter High Pole for raising of National flag was inaugurated in front of University College of Arts & Social Science, OU on 26th January 2024.
2024	Osmania University has secured 36th rank among all the Indian Universities and 64th rank in the overall ranking category by the NIRF-2023. University has secured 125th rank by QS- Southern Asia for the year 2024, 1200-1400 rank by QS-World University rankings of 2024; 451-500 among universities in Asia category by QS Asia Ranking for the year 2024, and 1201 -1500 Among Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Also Osmania University has secured 7th among the Indian Universities as per India Today Survey.
2024	University College of Engineering has secured the Rank-band: 101-150 ranking Engineering category by the NIRF-2023.
2023	The University is initiated conducting its Foundation Day celebrations Every year on 26th April
2022	Honoris Causa Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) was conferred on Justice Sri. N.V. Ramana, Hon’ble Chief Justice of India at the 82nd Annual Convocation held on August 5, 2022.
2019	Space Applications Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) extends MoU with University College of Engineering (UCE), OU on 15th Sept 19 for further 3 more years I.e., up to 15th Sept 2021.
2018	Developed Digital Evaluation Centre for Online evaluation of Examination Papers for all the courses of PGRRCDE with co-ordination of Examination branch, O.U.
2017	Space Applications Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Signs MoU with University College of Engineering (UCE), OU for 2 years, on Sept 16, 2017. The MoU is based on " Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) Data collection and field trails.
