Origin/Brief History of the Office

Globalization, Information technology and a large number of fresh graduates from Colleges have thrown open a big arena of employment. In order to facilitate students easy access to job sites and also help employers find suitable candidates a website has been designed and hosted. The site has a search engine to find suitable jobs for each graduate and vice versa. Presently each and every affiliated college is required to advertise their academic jobs on this site. The service was established by the university in the year 2002.

Objectives

• Help graduates to search for suitable jobs.
• Help affiliated colleges to advertise the jobs on a permanent platform.
• Promote a revenue resource for the university.

Brief report on the Major Achievements

All the affiliated colleges were intimated to contribute Rs.1000/- per year towards their job advertisement on the web-site.

Steps taken for Mobilization of Financial resources

The annual subscription by the affiliated colleges was streamlined through the Academic Audit Cell.
