The University has taken up several new initiatives in the recent past to make rigorous changes in teaching methodology that leads to improved academic performance by students, intensive use of new technologies in learning and evaluation processes, and strengthening infrastructural facilities to improve quality and quantity of research output and professional development activities.
The University has introduced the following measures towards the paradigm shift from a teacher-centric approach to learner-centric approach has been adopted.
The University has taken a number of measures to enhance the student empowerment through various support services such as career guidance, healthcare, psychological counselling, mentoring, personality development, communication and soft skills development by establishing the Competitive Examinations Coaching Centre, Directorate of Placement Services, Sahayam, and augmenting facilities at English Language Training Centre, University Computer Centre and University Health Centre.
