Chemistry Department a confederation of constituent colleges has a total of 58 permanent faculty members out of which 16 Professors, 1 Associate Professor and 9 Assistant Professors are seated at University College of Science- main campus (The number also includes two Assistant Professors recruited under UGC-Faculty Recharge Programme and two Assistant Professors of the MSc Forensic Science (Self-finance course)). The remaining 32 (1 professor and 31 Assistant professors) are placed at various constituent colleges viz., Osmania University College of Engineering(1 Professor), University College of Technology(3), Nizam College(11), University College for Women(8), University College of Science- Saifabad, Hyderabad(7 +1 on lean) and Post Graduate College, Secunderabad(1).
