Ragging is an offence under A.P. Prohibition of Ragging Act 1997, punishable by six months to seven years imprisonment. Abettors will also face similar punishment.

University college of science saifabad cater the needs of rural students in the field of science to make them good citizens and knowledgeable persons of India.

University college of science saifabad was located mitially at Gulbarga of eastwhile Nizam state, offering only Intermediate course.Late NawabAli Yavar Jung Bahadur,the then Vice-chancellor of Osmania University in 1951 aquired the present college campus at saifabad situated at Masabtank in Hyderabad the Prime locality at the foot hills of Banjara Hills Hyderabad that offers U.G.and P.G courses in Sciences.

The Serne and SP.rawling campus of the college that spreads over a vast strech of land measuring about 18.173 acres with lush gardens and huge tress is in complete contrast to the chaos of traffic prevalling outside the college.A fossil conifer wood of Araucarioxylon species of early Jurasic age (175 million years old) which was gifted to the college by the Geological Survey of India,Hyderabad,warmly welcomes any enthuiastic visitor to the college.

The Alumni Association of Osmania University has been formed in September 2003 in order to fulfill the long felt need for a forum and the cherished desires of its alumni It has been duly registered as a society (Regd.No.590 of 2003) to activate its functioning A committee has been constituted to provide vision, guidance and coordinate the all-round activities of the Alumni Association.

Our focus is on Broad basing the membership Increasing the paid membership Strengthening the resources and organizational framework Increasing the Awareness and impact of the Alumni Association through well planned activities / approaches.
