We are responsible for collecting, compiling and updating data

pertaining to various aspects of higher education within the jurisdiction of Osmania University.

Statistical data on various aspects of Higher Education Institutions forms the basis for showcasing the strengths of the Universities thus giving an opportunity for the stakeholder to make wise decision in choosing the Institution/College/Department/Centre to pursue the choice of course to develop knowledge and skills. The statistical data also helps various governmental and private institutions/bodies/organizations and other such entities to grade the University at various levels annually.

Realizing the importance of the compilation of statistical data and its regular updating and dissemination of the same to various stakeholders, Osmania University set up the Statistical Cell in 2011 to compile statistical data pertaining to faculty details, courses offered, students enrollment, students diversity, research works including M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses, major and minor research projects handled by individual faculty members, departmental research projects, inter-departmental research projects, intra-university, national and international collaborative research projects, etc. of all University Colleges, Constituent Colleges, Affiliated Colleges, Research Centres, Institutes and P. G. Centres of the University.

The Statistical Cell is headed by the Nodal Officer, appointed by the Vice Chancellor of the University.
