TITLE OF THE PROJECT

DEVELOPMENT OF SANSKRIT COMPUTATIONAL TOOL KIT AND SANSKRIT-HINDI MACHINE TRANSLATION SYSTEM

The pioneer institutions in the field of computational linguistics like Hyderabad Central University, IIIT-Hyderabad, JNU New Delhi, have formed a consortium to work in collaboration in an interdisciplinary research field called Sanskrit Computational Linguistics.

Sanskrit Academy, being a P.G. research centre, has got an opportunity to take part in this consortium as a member and by this, the Academy will get funding for projects in Sanskrit Computational linguistics from Dept. of Electronics, Govt. of India. By participating in this activity Sanskrit Academy will get a recognition in National and International level.
