Student Facilities
Scholarships SC/ST/LBC Scholarships: The students belonging to SC/ST/BC are awarded Scholarships by the Director of Social Welfare and Director of Tribal Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The scholarships are sanctioned on the basis of Caste Certificate and the Income limit as laid down by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The scholarship holders are required to put in not less than 75% of attendance for award of scholarship. Economically Poor People Scholarship (EPP) : This scholarships is sanctioned to the students on the basis of their poverty. They are not exempted from payment of fee, they will be paid Rs. 250/- per month during the course of study.
Hostel Limited Hostel facility is available to the candidates admitted to University College. Hence the hostel accommodation is not guaranteed. Hostel
facilities are provided to the students of University College of Law, who
hail from district places. The
‘E’ hostel caters to the needs of LL.B. students.
It is managed by 3 wardens. The
messes are situated near the Hostels with the facilities for both
vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The
Guest and substitution system is strictly prohibited.
The
following rules are prescribed in connection with the Hostel Admission.
The
campus hostels are open for admission only to students who have been
admitted to any one of the University Colleges situated in the University
campus.
The
admissions to the Hostel will be given strictly as per the actual
available number of seats. Admission
without accommodation shall not be considered.
The
admissions shall be strictly by merit (rank secured in the Entrance Test)
shall to the rules of reservation. While
considering the applications, the regulations given below will be
followed.:
The
applicant should be a student who only needs hostel accommodation to
pursue the course of study that are offered in the campus college.
Candidates
who after passing one stage of education are studying in the same stage
education are studying in the same stage education in a different subject
e.g. M.A. in one subject after M.A. in other subject will not be eligible.
Candidates
who after having completed their educational career in the professional
line continue professional studies in a different line will not be
eligible.
Students
who are in employment o who are practicing professionals will not be
eligible.
The
order of preference for admission to Hostels shall be as follows:
The
students who had their qualifying course of study at a distant place
(District Courses) shall be first considered.
Other
vacancies if any will be given only to those students who were residents
of the hostels managed by the Department of Social Welfare or Backward
class Welfare or Private Hostels approved by the Government.
After
accommodating the students coming column (a) and (b) the rest of
the cases shall be considered on merit of each case. However, the students belonging to the twin
cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and Urban Agglomeration are not
entitled to any hostel admission.
No
student shall reside in the Hostel unless he has been duly admitted.
Persons staying unauthorizedly will be treated as trespassers and
will be produced before a Magistrate for offences under Sections 447 and
448 O.P.C. A conviction will

At
present the Wardens are
Railway Concessions Railway
Concession forms are issued to the Bonafide students for going to their
native-home town during the vacations only. Railway
concessions will not be issued during the working days of the college
unless it is declared as vacation.
Misuse
of concession ticket or allowing another person to use the same is
strictly prohibited rendering the user liable for prosecution and other
penal action.
The term Home connotes: Native place of the students or the place where the parents or guardian of the students normally reside or the place where either o the parents or guardian of the students is resides at the relevant time.
Sports
The
College is situated in Campus and do not possess independent play-ground.
Moreover facilities for various outdoor games like Cricket,
Volley-ball, Foot-ball, Hand-ball, Hockey, Basket-ball, Athletics and etc.
are provided at the University Playgrounds.
College students have shown keen interest in sports and have
represented University and the State in different tournaments.
The college also provides for indoor games like Table-tennis,
Carrom and Chess.
National Service Scheme (NSS) The
College is running a NSS unit. There
is an advisory committee consisting of Principal, Programme Officer and
Members of Teaching Staff. The
N S S unit conducts its regular activities such as planting of trees
leveling the ground by filling up the ditches, removing wall posters from
the college walls etc. The N
S S unit also organize 3 special camps, educating the rural masses in
various branches of law. Dr.
