Award of Division

• In order to quality for the award of degree of Bachelor of Laws, a candidate should have passed the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year examination and ranked in order of proficiency as determined by total marks obtained in 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year put together and shall be arranged as under.

a. First Division: A candidate who secures not less than 60% of marks of the total marks of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year examinations put together and passes in all the papers of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year examination in one attempt shall be eligible for award of 1^st division.

b. A candidate who secures less than 60% but not less than 45% of the total marks of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year examinations put together and passes in all the papers of 1^st, 2^nd year examination either before or along with the third year in one attempt shall be eligible for 2^nd division.

c. A candidate who passes in all the papers of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year examination and does not fall under categories (a) and (b) shall be declared to have completed the LL.B.
